Job Description |
The Skidmore Early Childhood Center of the Education Studies Department is looking for students interested in working with preschool children in a lab school environment. The center offers five different preschool classes. Students will be responsible for assisting the classroom teacher with set up, classroom activities and clean up. Classes meet for the times below. Please note that you will need to have 10 hours a week with one group, as we need to have consistency with the children.
Pre-K class (older 4-5's) M-F mornings 8:00-12:00 p.m.
Afternoon Pre-K class (older 4-5's) M-F afternoons 12:00-4:00 p.m.
Multi-age class (3 & 4 's) M/W/F afternoons 12:30-4:00
Four-year-olds M/W/F mornings 8:30-12:00 p.m.
Three-year-olds T/TH mornings 8:30-12:00 p.m.
Three-year-olds M/W/F afternoons 12:30-4:00 p.m. |

Job Requirements |
Experience working with young children is desired. Teacher assistants are expected to take initiative and have a professional and committed disposition. |
