Job Description |
The Skidmore Sustainability Office is hiring positions for Skidmore’s Sustainability Representative team (S-Reps). The S-Rep team collaborates to create and implement education campaigns and events designed to increase awareness of sustainability and inspire behavior change on campus. While students are the primary target audience, the S-Reps strive to offer programming that is accessible to the entire campus community, including faculty and staff. The S-Reps collaborate with clubs and offices to develop unique and thought-provoking activities that illustrate the deep connections that exist within environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Educational campaigns will cover topics such as recycling, waste management, energy consumption and generation, food systems, environmental justice, and more. Applicants that are able to commit to the full school year are preferred, but we will consider students who are just available for the fall semester. S-Reps report to the Sustainability Coordinator for Student Programs

Job Requirements |
Requirements:
• Submission of cover letter, resume and two references (at least one Skidmore faculty/staff).
• Excellent organization skills.
• Self-starter.
• Able to work with diverse groups and audiences.
• Ability to respond to emails in a timely manner.
